Whew! I'm really losing steam on this project! But just another week or so and I'll be done! I haven't decided what to do next, but I'm fairly confident I've got to give up the 365. Maybe I can handle a 52-week project a little better?

Happy Valentines Day, everyone! I hope you enjoyed a lovely weekend with your sweetie. My Valentine and I went the practical route--baby class! Sure, not the most romantic way to spend your Saturday, but it was very informative and fun. And it involved a lot of massage. :)

Valentine's Day is coming up and I'm beggin' for a little love from you all! I pretty much constantly thinking about designs for our new baby boy's room and lately, I've been toying with some new fabrics. I recently created a fabric design (shown below) and entered it in a contest on spoonflower, an awesome site where you can create, buy, and sell your own fabric designs.

sweet on

It happens to me every winter. I enjoy the first month or so--pretty white snow covering the grey and brown earth, little berries on shrubs, the odd squirrel or bird, cozying up with a blanket, something warm to drink, and someone to love. It's really fantastic. Then I start to tire of the slush on the roads and the constant need to bundle up and the dry hands, etc. That's where I am now--ready for spring. And sunshine and warmth. And flowers! Since I live in Michigan, and we won't be having spring (or flowers) any time soon, I've decided to surround myself with some lovely images today. Aren't these sweet? I feel warmer already.
