playful pjs

baby,
spoonflower
I've been such a delinquent blogger. I have a ton of excuses, of course (baby, back-to-work, family immigration issues...), but that's all they are--excuses. At any rate, I thought I'd try to catch up (or at least get back on track)! So, for starters, here are a few shots of my boy in some pjs I made him.
The fabric is from spoonflower--a grasshopper + ant pattern and a coordinating stripe (check out the feet) that I had printed on the organic cotton knit.
Our little guy is very comfy in these duds. And the best part? He can't kick the feet off like he does his socks!

Happy to see you back to blogging!
You're little bean is adorable. You have a great knack for fabric design and I'm pretty jealous of your sewing skills.
This is awesome. Did you use a pattern? Which one?
I have a "socks off" toddler at home who would surely enjoy this!
Great job as always, and lovely fabrics.
Thanks!
@Gouchoun, I made a pattern using a pair of pjs (footless) my son already had and then just added the "feet" (I checked out the feet of some of the one-piece sleepers he's growing out of to get the anatomy right). I'm pretty new to making my own patterns, but this tutorial was helpful to me: http://www.dana-made-it.com/2008/07/tutorial-make-your-own-pattern.html
Thanks for the shots of your adorable baby please post more as soon as possible!
what a beautiful baby, the cloth and their ayes, so amazing! The crib looks so pretty!
